16 Celebrity Bitcoin And Crypto Fans

1. Tom Brady

You may be thinking about Tom Brady right now because of his recent retirement after the most legendary 22 year career in NFL history- and with good reason.

However, did you know that Tom Brady may also be one of the world’s most famous known bitcoin and crypto fans? Perhaps a web3/crypto entrepreneur with his new Autograph venture as well? According to his own statements and recent reports, this just might be the case.

Football’s GOAT has possibly decided to hang up the cleats, perhaps so he can have more time to stack sats and hang with his family, but will it mean we have a new business powerhouse emerging? It seems so.

Notably, Brady even sports the “laser eyes” renowned in Bitcoin circles on social media, and he’s admitted to owning some Bitcoin himself.

Also, Tom Brady and his wife, supermodel Giselle Bundchen, both are celebrity spokespeople for FTX- so it’s apparent there is certainly some strong interest in bitcoin and crypto in the Brady household.

The extent of the Brady/Bundchen bitcoin and crypto holdings is not clear, but it’s nonetheless a big momentum builder for the bitcoin and crypto communities to have someone of Tom Brady’s stature joining the party.

While everyone will always recognize Tom Brady as a football icon first-and-foremost… will Mr. Brady have a second act as a bitcoin and crypto entrepreneur? Time will tell.

2. Jack Dorsey

Not long ago, Jack Dorsey was the CEO of both Square and Twitter. Some time in 2021, Jack said something essentially to the effect that he’d be working more on Bitcoin if he were not at Twitter.

Then, voila, a few months later Mr. Dorsey officially announced he was leaving his role as Twitter CEO. Now, funnily enough- Square rebranded to Block and announced commencement of work on a slew of new bitcoin-focused products for things such as bitcoin mining (ahem), payments/crypto wallets, and even plans for a mining machine.

Needless to say, Jack is definitely one of the more committed Bitcoiners around and he’s also thought to have a considerable stack of BTC himself. Considering someone who founded Twitter and another incredibly successful multi-billion dollar company feels that Bitcoin is the most important thing that can be worked on, it makes you feel you are probably on to something also… doesn’t it?

3. Elon Musk

Being the world’s richest man as of the time this article is being written, surely Elon Musk knows a few things about money which the average person could only dream of knowing.

To the joy of many bitcoin/crypto fans, and to the dismay of many detractors, Mr. Musk also is quite familiar and apparently fond of cryptocurrencies.

After all, Elon is surely one of the world’s foremost voices on all subjects- so, it’s very positive to have him talking in a positive light about Bitcoin… especially considering very few other business magnates and world leaders have done the same.

Not only has Elon said in the past that he does personally own some Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Dogecoin, but he also placed a well known bet on Bitcoin in February of 2021 when Tesla bought $1.5 BILLION worth of Bitcoin and announced plans to possibly take BTC for payment in the future.

While nothing has materialized thus far regarding Tesla’s plans to take BTC payments, it would not be shocking to see something be unveiled.

Regardless, one of the world’s best hopes for bitcoin and crypto to continue advancing (and really just existing) is to have Elon Musk motivated to see bitcoin and crypto succeed.

So, for us all, let’s hope Elon stays stoked on bitcoin and crypto.

4. Ashton Kutcher

Since rocketing to stardom as Kelso on That 70’s Show, Ashton Kutcher has gone on to amass an incredibly impressive portfolio of tech investments. He’s also one of the biggest celebrity bitcoin proponents and married to his former co-star, Mila Kunis… but we’ll touch on that more in a moment, because Mila is also a famous crypto fan.

Naturally, with a proclivity to find emerging trends- Mr. Kutcher purportedly has been involved with cryptocurrency for years and is reported to hold significant stakes in Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.

In fact, it’s even been reported that Ashton has recommended that the best way to put money to work is investing in Bitcoin and some other select options.

Again, also natural when you are a celebrity with entrepreneurial passions- Mr. Kutcher appears to have some of his own ventures in the crypto space, with certainly many that are unknown as well.

5. Mila Kunis

Not only a famous actress, but also a crypto whale? That’s right! Mila has reportedly stated that her and Ashton started investing in Bitcoin back around 2013 or so… despite her advising against doing so. Now, Mila and Aston are both amongst some of the most notable celebrity crypto fans.

Also, Ms. Kunis and Mr. Kutcher both now have a NFT collaboration with the creator of Ethereum, Vitalik Buterin.

6. Kanye “Ye” West? (Maybe?)

While Mr. West has not came out and personally revealed himself to be a Bitcoiner- many signs point to him having a fondness for Bitcoin.

As a Billionaire, it’s also possible Ye could have a substantial stack of BTC… but it’s not our business to snoop into someone else’s funds.

However, it is important to note that Kanye has been talking about Bitcoin being a force for good in humanity, dating back at least to a 2020 interview on Joe Rogan’s Podcast, recounted by Forbes, and perhaps even earlier.

So, is Ye a bitcoin holder? We don’t know, but it seems only a matter of time before somebody asks him. And, if he is a Bitcoiner- hopefully he will be able to help Bitcoin become more mainstream for us all.

7. Gwyneth Paltrow

Gwyneth Paltrow has been a spokesperson for Cash App, tweets about owning Bored Apes NFTs, and is reported to have other investments in the bitcoin and crypto sphere.

Is she just trying to stay with the latest trends, or is she really interested in crypto and BTC? Time will tell.

8. Paris Hilton

The Socialite/Heiress turned Reality TV Star, DJ, and Business Mogul is one of the celebrities who seems to be often posting about NFTs, Crypto, and Bitcoin.

While Ms. Hilton’s bitcoin and crypto holdings are not publicly disclosed, she does claim to have been investing in Bitcoin and Ethereum since at least 2016.

9. Mark Cuban

When billionaires the likes of Mark Cuban are involved with something, you know that it’s got a chance to be successful. After all, this is the same individual who was able to cash in on the tech boom of the late 90’s just before the crash that wiped out so many once promising companies.

Needless to say, Mark Cuban has an eye for talent and a keen ability to spot emerging trends.

As with most things the Dallas Mavericks Owner and Shark Tank Star/Investor does, there has been some controversy surrounding Mr. Cuban’s involvement in the crypto-world- primarily from disgruntled Bitcoin maximalists because he has voiced a preference toward Ethereum, Dogecoin, NFTs, and other cryptocurrencies, rather than a preference for Bitcoin. Regardless, having Mr. Cuban mentioning bitcoin and cryptocurrencies at all is sure to be a positive for the movement.

The Dallas Mavericks even are among a few NBA teams that allow fans to pay for some items with cryptocurrencies like Dogecoin.

Most people expect to see Mark Cuban heavily involved with crypto for a long time to come.

10. Odell Beckham Jr.

For the 2021-2022 NFL Season, after leaving the Cleveland Browns for another team, Odell Beckham Junior famously became one of the most well-known professional athletes to get paid with BTC when he took his entire $750,000 USD salary in Bitcoin from the Super Bowl LVI contending Los Angeles Rams.

While naysayers have mocked the move on Twitter and other platforms- openly saying Beckham made a terrible choice due to Bitcoin’s slight price drop from all-time-highs and tax implications upon sale, rest assured and know that most bitcoin believers think Mr. Beckham will have the last laugh because of his savvy move…especially if he decides to HODL!

11. Snoop Dogg

Snoop Dogg and Odell Beckham Jr. may have some things to talk about when Snoop hits the stage for a performance alongside Dr. Dre, Eminem, and Mary J. Blige for the Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show BECAUSE Snoop recently bought the company that he started his career with: Death Row Records.

Oh, and also- more importantly- because Snoop Dogg is also reportedly a huge fan of crypto, NFTs, and bitcoin.

Since The D.O Double G seems to be more popular than ever these days, endorsing a slew of products from beer to car insurance, it’s not surprising to see how Mr. Broadus could help bring NFTs, crypto and bitcoin more to the mainstream just like he has done with Hip-Hop and other trends before.

12. Aaron Rodgers

Everyone wonders where Aaron Rodgers will continue his NFL playing career, and rightfully so. But, bitcoin fans will be just as worried about hearing whether Mr. Rodgers will get paid in Bitcoin next year again- after choosing to take a portion of his salary in BTC for the 2021-2022 campaign.

13. Jimmy Fallon

Jimmy Fallon isn’t just a former SNL star and current host of The Tonight Show– he’s also a well-known fan of crypto, BTC, and certainly NFTs. After all, he has a Bored Ape NFT as his Twitter Avatar and has spent large segments of his show essentially promoting his NFT holdings… so he seems to have caught the crypto spell like many others.

Given the large audience Mr. Fallon commands, it’s great for Bitcoin, crypto, and NFTs to have him mentioning the subjects to a wider fan base, as it most certainly is helping these topics to spread mainstream.

Are most news anchors and TV Personalities right now somewhat reminiscent of the famous Today Show segment when Katie Couric and Bryant Gumbel didn’t know what the internet even was?

Not Jimmy Fallon- he’s, apparently, a cool dad.

14. Trevor Lawrence

The #1 Pick in the 2021 NFL Draft certainly had plenty of reasons to smile during a rookie campaign that may not have been stellar on the field, because off the field the wins piled up.

After signing a rookie contract, Trevor converted his entire signing into cryptocurrency- reportedly a mix of Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana, amongst others.

15. Lebron James

Lebron James’ personal bitcoin and crypto holdings are not known, but he is partnered with a crypto company that just bought the naming rights to the arena James plays in.

16. Stephen Curry

Things move fast in this world, especially when it comes to sports and crypto. For example- in September of 2021 Steph Curry tweeted out that he was looking to learn more about crypto and was just getting started. The next day, he announced a partnership with FTX. Almost seems too good to be true, right?

Regardless, Curry has quickly shown an aptitude for crypto culture similar to his prowess on the court. And, like many other famous and wealthy folks… yes, Steph Curry of course owns owns a BAYC Bored Ape NFT- because why not?

With a yearly salary of more than $45 Million USD from playing in the NBA with the Golden State Warriors to play with, not even counting endorsements, the question comes up: will Stephen Curry become the next athlete to take a part of his salary in Bitcoin some time soon? It seems possible!
